Managing director

Mgr. Roman Badík

Roman graduated from the Department of Political Science and European Studies at Palackého University in Olomouc. Since 2006, Roman has been with EUTIS as a project manager and since 2011 as a CEO. In the organisation, he was there at the birth of the projects Decide on Europe, EU-WEEK-END and the High School Political Science Conference. In addition to the non-profit sector, he worked in a consultancy company dealing with EU structural funds, in the Central European Institute of Technology, in the Research Department of Masaryk University and currently in a private biotechnology company. His hobbies include traveling, hiking and running.

Mgr. Tímea Červeňová

Tímea is a graduate of the Master’s program in Security and Strategic Studies at Masaryk University. She is currently completing a master’s degree in European Studies at the same university. During the autumn of 2018, she completed a study stay through the Erasmus + program at Tallinn University. She has been actively cooperating with EUTIS since 2019. Since participating in the Decision on Europe in 2015 project, Tímea has been actively interested in EU-related topics and their communication with young people. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering and hiking.

Leon Tóth

Leon is a student at Charles University in Prague, studying for a Master’s degree in Law and Legal Science. He is interested in international relations, especially the functioning of supranational institutions. He led organisational teams of student conferences and participated in meetings with international participation in the past. Leon has completed several internships focusing on the EU and co-organizes projects focusing on developing active citizenship and participation. He currently holds the position of Coordinator of the National Convention on the EU in the Section for European Affairs of the Office of the Government. He devotes himself to history or research activities for a law firm in his spare time.

Mgr. et Mgr. Michael Murad

Michael is a graduate of law and security and strategic studies at Masaryk University. He has been active in the field of civic education since 2009. At this time, he began to cooperate with EUTIS o.p.s., where he has been working as a project manager since 2011. He participated in the implementation of several national and international projects aimed at increasing the participation of young people in politics. In the past, he worked closely with other non-profit organizations or Europe Direct centres. Within the EUNET, he has been the chair of a working group focused on the exchange of experience and methods in youth work. Since January 2020 Michael works in Association for International Affairs (AMO) as the Czech coordinator of the Czech-German Young Professionals Program (CGYPP). His hobbies include travelling, literature and hiking in the mountains.

Mgr. Kateřina Šustrová

Kateřina is a graduate of Political Science at the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University and currently works in the Section of the European Office of the Government of the Czech Republic. Since 2014 she has been cooperating with EUTIS on informal civic education projects, which she would like to keep on in the future. That is also why she completed additional pedagogical studies for secondary school teachers. She is as well involved in a range of volunteering activities, ranging from teaching Czech to foreigners to cooperating with the Jewish Museum in Prague. She enjoys studying foreign languages, travelling and learning new cultures.
